We are seeing a very high number of ferrets coming into the Rescue at the moment, faster than we can update! Take a look at our facebook album for some of the animals we are helping to find their forever homes – https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.313549155354612&type=3
Fluffy Retreat is a small ferret rescue established in 2010 – originally as a halfway house for ferrets waiting for rescue placements and has grown into a rescue in its own right.
Many ferrets come into the rescue through no fault of their own. Each year large numbers of ferrets are bred from, resulting in many more unwanted kits.
Fluffy Retreat is funded by fundraising activities and public donations. Fluffy Retreat neuters all ferrets of a legal age (unless extreme health circumstances mean it is too high risk – few and far between) All ferrets are vaccinated and microchipped. All ages, sizes and shapes catered for ;)
We operate throughout Wiltshire, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Bristol, Swindon, Bath and some areas of South Wales.
HOW YOU CAN HELP.
If you are able to make a financial donation to the rescue, that's wonderful (we do NOT want anyone putting themselves in financial difficulty to support us!).
We want to make the most of your donations, so if you are able to make a donation and you are a UK taxpayer, please consider sending us a giftaid form as well so that we can claim that extra 25p per £1 from HMRC. You can download the gift aid form from gov.uk site and email to us at email@example.com - please let us know when and how the payment was made, and the name, so that we can tie the two together.
If you want to make a donation of goods, please check out our Amazon wishlist (https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/1253OOPKF5AAG) – it shows what we need and we will endeavour to keep this as up to date as possible as situations unfold (i.e. if we have ferrets on specific foods etc).
Thank you :)
