Mayhew is taking the threat posed by COVID-19 extremely seriously. We have been closely monitoring the ongoing situation and will continue to follow advice from the UK Government.
The community clinic services are open to the public by appointment only. Please check our webpage for further details. We are continuing to follow best practice with mask wearing (unless exempt), hand sanitisation and social distancing. We request that owners wait in the clinic reception whilst their animals are being treated or examined.
Our rehoming process remains the same, with some minor changes, which you can read about here. We are now arranging collection adoption appointment visits at Mayhew, instead of the previous home drop-offs.
Our shop and reception remain closed to the public until further notice. If you need to speak with our reception you can contact them at: 020 8962 8000.
We want to share our point of view, to inform and change behaviours to improve animal welfare
We take a realistic view of the - often difficult - situations we face.
We look for ways to reduce the number of animals in need through pro-active community initiatives and preventative veterinary care.
We know that a major part of our work is in understanding the links between social issues and animal welfare. We do not judge. We listen. We value people too.
We run many different initiatives in the UK and internationally. Visit our website for details.
