Little Paws Ferret Rescue
REGISTERED CHARITY #
ferrets in our care
We are currently accepting strays and emergencies but our rehomes are on hold as we cannot get the ferrets neutered or vaccinated until the vets reopen fully. We expect this to change mid to end of June.
VISION & MISSION.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome lost, unwanted and mistreated ferrets in Sunderland and South Tyneside.
Little Paws Ferret Rescue are a charitably Incorporated organisation (CIO) registered with the Charities Commission. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome lost, unwanted and mistreated ferrets in Sunderland and South Tyneside. We provide advice and education on ferret care and promote good animal husbandry as well as promoting animal welfare.
All of our rescues are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped (as long as they are healthy enough to do so) and we have a no breeding policy for all of our rescues. We also offer full rescue back up to all adopted ferrets for the whole of their lifespan.
HOW YOU CAN HELP.
We are always in need of fleece blankets or material, towels, small animal equipment, ferret kibble, etc... We have a bank of volunteers that help with events, fostering (vetting and training required), sharing our posts on social media and raising awareness. We hold shows and events which you can attend or volunteer at.
